Once you have placed the nicotine stick into the top of the device, you have to press the button on the side of the device 5 times and this will start heating the nicotine stick. Once it is ready to puff it will buzz after approximately 15 seconds letting you know that it is ready to be used. 

Will my TEO Device overheat if I forget to turn it off? 

No, the TEO is designed to stop heating after the nicotine stick has been consumed, and will not overheat in your pocket, or on the side. 

How often do I need to clean the blade? 

Unlike other heat not burn nicotine sticks, TEO is designed to be used with the NEAFS products that do not contain tobacco. Therefore we advise that you only need to clean the blade once in a while (approximately every week) rather than having to clean it often because of tobacco residue. If you are using the TEO device with HEETS for example, you will need to clean it regularly due to the tobacco residue left over. We advise using the TEO device with NEAFS nicotine sticks to avoid this issue.
